Also called Russian Olive, this small tree or shrub was introduced to the West and greater Southwest in Post-Columbian times. Food for birds from its fruits, medicine for people from its leaf and fruit and seed, pollinator + perfume from flowers, and carving from the beautiful wood of this shrub.
