This bitters blend is a unique Virginia Piedmont version of my Piñon Juniper bitters. It features crushed Juniper berries and finely chopped Loblolly Pine needles infused in honey and vinegar.

This unique version of Pine and Juniper bitters we’ve created was made in a specialty small batch in the Virginia Piedmont.

Loblolly Pine is a conifer in the Yellow Pine group that is wide spread across eastern Turtle Island and is, like all Pines, high in vitamin C and deliciously tangy.

Use these bitters similarly to my Piñon Juniper bitters in your hot beverage of choice for a mild conifer addition, drip onto desserts, or mix into a gin and tonic.

Juniper berries have been known historically to aid in digestion, arthritic conditions, and inflammation throughout the body.
