Extract of the root bark of Ceanothus velutinus, the Red Root or Snowbush of the West.

Mindfully harvested and processed by hand, this Red Root comes from a grove in the High Sierra Mountains of California that I have watched over the years. My favorite species to use, you can taste the unique flavors of this deep red colored medicine; resembling slightly candied cough syrup, strong spicy resins, a hint of birchy mint, with an ever so slightly astringent pucker.
