Rosemary, in the mint family and native to the Mediterranean embodies an offering to reference and memory. Slightly bitter, slightly stimulating of circulation around the body and also the brain. Put a dropperful in your hot tea when you need a brain boost or to encourage internal movement.

I’ve always loved making medicine with Rosemary, from my herbal toothpowder, soaps, to body butters, to tinctures and elixirs. It grew well where I was raised in southern Virginia, and I always felt I could find a Rosemary bush somewhere. When encountering Rosemary while traveling, I always gather some for cooking, herbal oil infusions, or to put in honey.
