light brown/tan. super soft on the skin side, a few holes from the butcher’s skinning process but solid in integrity. tanned with mimosa extract and black walnut hulls. I left the frame softening holes in this one for character, you can decide to trim off if you desire.

Tanned by hand using non-industrial methods, using emulsified fats, plant tannins and days of physical softening and preening.

This hide was washed multiple times. You may want to brush it a little more or keep it wild.

machine washable in cold water and on cold setting in the dryer. Air dry to complete. You may want to re-oil the skin side after washing a few times to keep skin soft and pliable.
